I’m Valerie Toh — an analytical game and UI/UX designer who is passionate in creating meaningful and impactful experiences!

Games have always been pivotal in my life, shaping my experiences as I grew up. They motivated me to look forward to each new day and helped me build lasting connections with others. Fuelled by this passion, I aim to dedicate myself to creating the same impactful experiences that once brought me joy, so that others can enjoy them.

Game Designer

2024 — 2025

• Designed various core features and systems for “Hellheart Breaker” like NPC Relationship Progression, Shop Merchants, Player Combat Progression, and Dungeon Rest Stops. • Worked closely with other designers and writers to brainstorm minigames and combat systems. • Co-led and prototyped the UI/UX, like Combat Overview and Player Menu. • Worked closely with artists to deliver UI assets needed. • Tested demo versions and refined game design features and UI according to player engagement and feedback. • Collaborated with the various team to streamline the bug reporting process. • Conducted regular design reviews to ensure the features are implemented as visualized. • Identified and documented bugs, glitches and issues on Jira.
